Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is a treatment method for  mental complaints and issues. This form of therapy usually  consists of speaking with a trained counselor - the psychotherapist. It’s not the role of the therapist to solve your problems for you. They will help you to view your struggles differently, to process painful feelings and memories, to approach difficult situations more effectively and maybe change your own behavior.

The goal of psychotherapy is to help you neutralize your mental complaints and issues or at least to alleviate them to help you cope. There is a great variety of mental health issues for which people  seek psychotherapy. Some examples are: fears and phobias, depression, addiction, identity crises, relational or family issues. More often than not, underlying negative experiences are at the core of these  issues.
